An inmate found unresponsive inside of Fort Dix federal prison was pronounced dead on Saturday, according to officials.

Authorities say Jarrette Morales was serving more than six years for dealing drugs in Puerto Rico.

The prison has not specified who found him, where he was located or the cause of his death.

An announcement from the prison confirmed that no employees or other inmates were injured.

Prison officials say the FBI has been notified about the death.
