New body camera footage shows a water rescue by Gloucester City police and firefighters of a woman whose car went off a pier.

The incident happened late last month

According to authorities, the woman plunged off of Freedom Pier.

Authorities say her car was found upside down in the Delaware River.

Three good Samaritans joined in on the rescue to free the woman from her car.

Police say she is in critical condition, but slowly recovering.

There is no word on what caused her to drive off the pier.
