Bodycam: Gloucester City police rescues woman who drove into Delaware River

Authorities say when they arrived the found the car upside down and were unable to determine if someone was inside.

A woman was rescued from her car after it plunged off of Freedom Pier into the Delaware River. 
The incident happened in April 28 at around 1 p.m. 
Authorities say when they arrived the found the car upside down and were unable to determine if someone was inside.  
Detective Sergeant Carlos Depoder and Officers Sean Gartland and John Bryszewski, Jr. jumped into the water and were able to free the woman. She was treated while still in the water. 
Authorities say three good Samaritans helped the woman and officers into their boat. They continued to treat the female driver until medical and fire personnel arrived. 
Police say she is in critical condition but recovering. There is no word on what caused her to drive off of the pier.
