The community gathered to say a final farewell to a young couple who died in a car crash in Toms River.
Authorities say the crash occurred when an unlicensed teenager drove more than 100 mph and crashed into them.
Dozens of friends and family members lined up outside the Timothy Ryan Funeral Home to mourn the loss of 23-year-old Evan Fiore and 21-year-old Kiley Armstrong.
The couple are graduates of Toms River High School North. Their obituaries stated that the couple was inseparable and had been dating for more than four years.
Armstrong was set to graduate from Rowan University in May. Fiore was set to receive his associate degree from Ocean County College also in May.
Armstrong’s twin sister and her boyfriend were injured in the crash.
A funeral Mass for the couple will be held Friday morning.
