The Deal Police Department is warning residents to lock up their homes and vehicles after a home was broken into on Thursday.
Borough officials say it happened around 5 a.m. on Norwood Avenue. Police say the first-floor window was opened and a high-end car was stolen out of the driveway.
Police also say that on Friday, an officer reported seeing a car with fictitious license plates that seemed to be searching for other high-end vehicles. Officials say that when that officer tried to pull over the car, the driver sped away.
Police are asking anyone who notices anything suspicious to give them a call at 732-531-1113.
