A Cresskill principal may have been feeling a bit groggy today after roughing it outside for the night on the school's roof.
Edward H. Bryan School Principal Erik Roth was on the roof as reward for his students who stepped it up with their reading goals.
"Specifically with the book fair, take a look at a lot of different books that peak their interest in all areas -- fiction, non-fiction, all content areas and subjects really," said Roth. "Get out there and read, read, read."
And read they did! In just four days the students doubled the goal he gave them, purchasing 2,000 books at the school book fair last week.
Roth had a tent set up and was live tweeting through the night.
Kids arrived at 8:15 a.m. and Roth greeted them from up above.
