A 39-year-old Bergen County attorney was issued several summonses after he allegedly showed up at a couple’s home nearly naked.
Rutherford police say that Justin Christodoro walked into the couple’s home wearing only a tight, black T-shirt and black high heels. Christodoro was reportedly not wearing pants or underwear.
Rutherford Police Chief John Russo says that Christodoro surprised the couple when he walked into their home through the back door as if he was expected.
“He announced himself. He said that he was here,” Russo said. “I would imagine he realized or I’m hoping he realized that he was in the wrong house.”
Russo says that Christodoro ran off and was later found at another home in Lyndhurst after the homeowner there also called police.
Lyndhurst police say that they found a bag containing an ecstasy pill inside Christodoro’s care.
Christodoro is a DUI attorney in Hackensack. News 12 New Jersey attempted to contact him, but his office voicemail box was full.
Chief Russo says that he has seen many things during his time as a police officer, but says that this may be the strangest.
“Just bizarre,” he said. “Truly bizarre and unfortunate for everyone involved.”
Christodoro was issued a trespassing summons in Rutherford and summonses for drug possession, lewdness and other offenses in Lyndhurst.
