Prosecutors have launched an investigation into a deadly house fire that occurred Friday afternoon in Carlstadt.

Crews took around 40 minutes to extinguish the blaze at the multifamily home.

Authorities say a man was found dead inside. No other details have been released.

Officials say the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
