Persistent clouds are still clinging to the area. Eventually, we should see a little brightening at the end of the day.

TONIGHT: Clear to partly cloudy skies for tonight and then the clouds collect again tomorrow around lunchtime.

TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY: Overcast skies will continue to lower and rain showers will begin sometime late Tuesday evening. The showers will last through the night into Wednesday. It's possible for 1 inch to as much as 1.5 inches of rain to collect. No flooding is expected. Just a nuisance rain event - good for the gardens and lawns.

COMING UP: Looking forward to something this week from the weather? Temperatures warm up back to where they should be for this time of year – the low- to mid-70s - starting on Thursday. These warmer temperatures will last through the weekend and into next week as well.
