A new warning was issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding an uptick in measles cases.
There have been 188 confirmed cases of measles across the country, including two
in New Jersey.
Many of the cases are related to international travel and are among children and those who have not received the measles, mumps and rubella vaccination (MMR).
The state is now urging all New Jersey residents planning to travel, regardless of destination, to make sure they are up-to-date on all routine vaccinations.
