Officials say NYC’s congestion pricing will cause more traffic, pollution in New Jersey
4ds agoAt least six people were evacuated from an apartment building in Hasbrouck Heights due to structural damage caused by a car that slammed into the building.
The crash occurred at the Grandview Gardens Apartments around 10:30 a.m., according to officials. The building was evacuated due to concerns of a possible collapse.
Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department Chief Mike Greco says officials contacted Red Cross so that displaced residents have a temporary place to stay.
Greco also said a professional shoring company is on the way to examine and fix the damage.
