Cape May County is cracking down on people who feed seagulls.
Residents and visitors on the Ocean City boardwalk in Cape May County say seagulls have become more annoying and aggressive.
"I love nature but enough already," says Jamie Winter, of New York. "And [we] don't need more all over the boardwalk."
The town says feeding the birds leads to their new aggressive behavior.
Officials say they will be enforcing an already existing law, which can result in fines or jail time for people who feed seagulls.
The warning messages and reminders will appear in city welcome centers, boardwalk businesses and on social media.
