Daniel Mathews was found guilty Monday of killing Timothy Young inside Young's home in 2023 during a robbery involving a large amount of marijuana.
According to police, Mathews stole Young's car after the murder, placed the body in the trunk and abandoned the vehicle on a Brooklyn street, where it was later discovered by authorities.
