Bloomfield Township has announced that it will expand its shuttle bus service to New York City starting April 10.
This comes after the DeCamp Bus Line announced that it was discontinuing its service to Manhattan.
The mayor of Bloomfield contacted New Jersey Transit to request taking over service of the route. Instead, the township will expand its existing shuttle service.
Passes for 50 rides will be sold for $25.
DeCamp’s commuter service from Bloomfield to New York City ends April 7. Charter bus service to Atlantic City will continue.
