A Roseland police officer is out of the hospital after surviving a crash with an NJ Transit bus in Livingston.
Officer Mark Miller was released from a rehab facility Wednesday after nearly a month of recovery.
His mother posted that he still has a long way to go.
Miller was inside a police cruiser and had to be airlifted for emergency surgery.
Prosecutors said the bus driver, 40-year-old Djimmy Evra, is charged with assault by auto.
Evra was accused of speeding through a red light at Livingston and Prudential Drive.
