A man connected to the death of a woman whose body was found stuffed into
a barrel is set to be extradited to New Jersey.
According to investigators, Nicole Flanagan, 42, of Connecticut, was
reported missing from her New York home. Her body was later found stuffed in a barrel in
Ridgefield Park.
Following a police investigation, one suspect, identified as
Aquellio Parker,
29, of New York, was arrested. He will soon be extradited to Bergen County. Investigators
say he was texting with Flanagan before her death.
Parker is charged with assisting in moving Flanagan's body in the barrel
from Wall Street in New York to Ridgefield Park.
Investigators say the mother of three was last seen in Manhattan entering
a Wall Street complex before she was reported missing.
Relatives tell News 12 Connecticut she was a high-end escort, and
that they had lost close contact with her. Flanagan lived in the Bronx, but was
originally from Greenwich, Connecticut.
Police have not identified the second suspect accused of moving Flanagan’s
body. Investigators have also not released any information on how Flanagan
died.
Her wake is today, and her funeral is Friday. Her family has set up a GoFundMe
to help them with expenses.
