The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating reports that human remains were found in Ridgefield Park.
Authorities say that the remains were found inside of a large plastic container that was left on the street.
The remains were found near Hobart Street and Teaneck Road in Ridgefield Park around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
It was unclear how the person died or where the container came from.
Anyone who may have any information is asked to contact Ridgefield police or the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
