Two grand opening ceremonies were held this
morning for new Wawa
locations that opened in Randolph and Cranford.
The store in Randolph is located on Route
10, becoming the second location in Morris County, along with a Parsippany
location off New Road near the Route 280 interchange.
Town officials joined police,
firefighters and Wawa mascot Wally Goose for a ribbon-cutting ceremony with VIP
customers in Randolph.
The location will offer
Wawa's new burger menu, which it launched companywide last month.
Wawa will mark the day by
making hoagie and monetary donations to local charities and non-profit
organizations.
The store in Cranford is
located at 500 North Avenue E.
The company has about 900
locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and as far away as Florida on the East
Coast.
