STORM WATCH: Slow-moving thunderstorms into the evening, flooding possible

ALERT: The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for central and northern New Jersey, including Monmouth County. The watch is in effect from 2 p.m. to midnight. Slow moving storms will be capable of producing 2-4 inches of rain in a very short period of time. Gradual clearing will follow overnight into Tuesday morning.

- Storms will be capable of producing localized 2-4 inches of rain, main hazard is heavy rain
- Rain rates could be as high as 1-2 inches per hour during storms

TODAY/TONIGHT: Limited sunshine, humid with isolated to scattered storms this afternoon into late night. Highs are seasonal, near 84-87. Overnight lows near 73.
