Police arrest man accused of vandalizing Clifton food pantry over holiday weekend

Two Pennsylvania women were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 55 in Gloucester County over the weekend, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at 10:55 p.m. Sunday on Route 55 south near milepost 57.1 in Deptford Township.

A preliminary investigation found that Ayzia J. Toledo, 22, of Bristol, Pennsylvania, was driving a BMW with Henrietta F. Carter, 22, of Darby, Pennsylvania, in the front passenger seat and another passenger in the rear seat.

State police said Toledo lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.

Toledo and Carter suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead. The rear-seat passenger sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
