A Toms River man pleaded guilty to terroristic threats after prosecutors said he threatened to kill another driver during a road rage confrontation in Atlantic City last year.

Frank Marin, 28, pleaded guilty Tuesday to terroristic threats. Under the plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend a sentence of three years in New Jersey State Prison.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says the incident occurred Sept. 12, 2025 on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Police said the victim had stopped for an ambulance when Marin, driving a white Nissan Altima, ran a red light and nearly collided with the victim's vehicle.

Prosecutors said the two drivers confronted each other, and as the victim attempted to leave, Marin blocked his vehicle, threatened to kill the victim and his dog and retrieved a Taser from his car before approaching the victim's vehicle.

The victim then drove forward, striking Marin's Nissan, and Marin left the scene.
