Dust off your homemade posters and vintage graphic tees — the Jonas Brothers are throwing it back to 2008.
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas announced they are heading back to Madison Square Garden this summer for a special two-night event titled “The Burning Up Tour All Over Again.” The exclusive performances are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20, and Friday, Aug. 21.
The announcement serves as a full-circle celebration of the band’s iconic 2008 arena tour, which helped catapult the trio from Disney Channel breakout stars to global pop music icons.
“The Burning Up Tour changed our lives and we can’t wait to relive it with all of you in a place that means so much to us,” the band said in a statement to fans.
The original tour was tied to the release of their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, and the success of the Disney Channel film Camp Rock.
Given the popularity of the original tour and the fact that only two dates have been announced, demand is expected to be high. Tickets will be released in waves:
Artist presale begins Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m. ET.
General public on-sale opens Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
Fans can expect plenty of nostalgia, with the setlist likely to include era-defining songs such as “S.O.S.,” “Lovebug,” “Year 3000” and “Burnin’ Up.”
