Former Dallas Cowboys player and longtime Bridgeport educator Frank Brown, 81, has returned to Connecticut to mentor youth.

He is emphasizing education alongside athletic discipline during National Sports and Physical Fitness Month.

During his tenure at the original Bassick High School, Brown boasted a 67% Division 1 college placement rate for his players. He is now focused on preparing students for life beyond the football field.

"It's good to be back and to help uplift the next generation," Brown said.
