Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that temperatures will be unseasonably cool on Thursday.
THURSDAY: Showers in the morning and afternoon. Some cells pop up near 5 p.m. with some storm potential to the west. Daytime highs near 68 degrees. Overnight lows near 59.
FRIDAY: The summer fizzle continues with moderate to heavy rain very early Friday morning. By 4:45 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. it will rain in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties. A morning commute slowdown is likely. The rain takes a break and returns later in the morning, near 9 a.m. across the state.
Another wave of rainstorms has the potential to develop after 4 p.m. as humidity and temperatures increase. Daytime highs near 81. Overnight lows near 64.
SATURDAY: Rain chances and storms continue throughout the morning, followed by a break and another chance for a rumble in the afternoon and evening. Seasonal temperatures near 84. Overnight lows near 69.
SUNDAY: Another round of showers and storm in the afternoon is possible. Highs near 84. Lows near 69.
