Waldwick fire crews rescue trapped driver in BMW

Fire crews said the rescue was an extremely difficult operation made by Rescue 642 and Squad 633 due to mud on the slope and the heavy damaged vehicle.

Fire crews in Waldwick say they rescued an entrapped driver in a BMW on Wednesday.
The Waldwick Volunteer Fire Department said the driver went off the road and down an embankment.
Photos show the car was destroyed after hitting a tree. Fire crews said the rescue was an extremely difficult operation made by Rescue 642 and Squad 633 due to mud on the slope and the heavy damaged vehicle.
The extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown.
