Additional resources have been assigned to New Jersey as part of the ongoing restoration effort following Wednesday’s storm.
Jersey Central Power and Light crews are staged to address power outages and downed trees throughout the state.
The utility says that central New Jersey customers should have their lights back on by Sunday, but those in northern New Jersey may not see power restored until Wednesday night, a full week after the snowstorm.
PSEG says a total of 550 trucks and crews equipped with 580 tree trimmers are on the move. They say power for their customers should be back on by Saturday or Sunday night at the latest.
