Two young patients relearning to walk find strength in friendship at Blythedale Children’s Hospital

For the past three years, 10-year-olds Ashton and Anthony have been riding the bus together from Brooklyn to Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla.

Two boys bonded by recovery are celebrating a friendship that changed their lives.

For the past three years, 10-year-olds Ashton and Anthony have ridden the bus together from Brooklyn to Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla.

Ashton and Anthony have been at Blythedale Children's Hospital to relearn how to walk and build their motor skills.

They had their last session together Thursday as Anthony heads back to school next week.

Their final session also coincided with Ashton's 10th birthday.
