The loss of Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. has left those closest to him with a heavy heart.

Tributes for the longtime Democratic congressman have come pouring in since his death was announced on Wednesday.

This comes as funeral plans for the 87-year-old have been announced.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Aug. 27 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson.

A funeral Mass is set for Wednesday at 11 a.m. An interment will then follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
