Traffic stop leads to arrest for fake bomb threat at Macy's store

Authorities say they had pulled over a car for an allegedly bogus registration shortly after an apparent bomb threat was phoned into the department store at the Willowbrook Mall.

Police say they inadvertently busted the people behind an apparent bomb threat at a Macy's in Wayne after making what they initially thought was a routine traffic stop.
Authorities say they had pulled over a car for an allegedly bogus registration shortly after an apparent bomb threat was phoned into the department store at the Willowbrook Mall.
While detectives were investigating that incident, they discovered that the phone number where the threat originated was allegedly the same number of the occupants in the car.
Nashid Wilson, Shaquanda Whilte and Cristal Rennie were arrested after police say they discovered stolen goods in the vehicle.
The vehicle was also allegedly stolen, and all three were arrested.
