A substitute teacher in Plainfield is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
Tory James, 23, works at Queen City Academy Charter School and also mentors middle school students at a local day camp.
Prosecutors say he promoted obscene material to a child under 18 but did not confirm whether the charges are connected to either of his jobs.
