A man from Paterson has been found guilty of murder in a shooting that happened last spring, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
Jimmy Mercedes, 41, faces 30 years to life in prison for the killing of Daryl Robinson, who died two days after being shot near Broadway and East 24th Street last May.
Sentencing is scheduled for October.
