Here are some tips to help you avoid scams:

Beware of fake gift cards. Some scammers on the web sell gift cards that arrive with no balance.
Plus keep an eye out for fake shipping notifications. Scammers are known to email or text a delivery notification with a tracking link, but it’s really a phishing link used for identity theft.
