News 12’s Tony Caputo is in Thunderbolt 12 this morning checking on driving conditions as a winter storm is making for icy roadways in many parts of the state.

The treacherous driving has caused a vehicle into a guardrail on Route 18 North just south of Route 34 in the Colts Neck area of Monmouth County.

There is no word on whether anyone was injured. Anyone driving this morning is being advised to be careful and drive slow.

News 12's Tony Caputo interviews Bergen County Executive James Tedesco to discuss how the county will take care of the snow and ice on the roads.
