The first significant snow arrived this winter in the Garden State.
Parts of Sussex County saw about 4 to 6 inches of snow, and Thunderbolt 12 was in the neighborhood. As the winter storm wrapped up this afternoon, kids enjoyed the remains of the season's first real snow. Kids in Newton were throwing snowballs and sliding down any hill they could find.
"As far as fun, we haven't had any fun. There's been no snow. I like the snow," one father said. "I'm so happy they get to play in the snow. It's been all winter, and they've had no snow."
