The Roosevelt Youth Center needs your help to restock its food pantry shelves.
The center handed out free Thanksgiving dinners in partnership with Mount Sinai Baptist Church.
Pastor Arthur L. Mackey Jr. tells News 12 the church boosted its meal donation efforts this year because of high demand.
"The need is great. Before we had one event and now we have about three or four different events surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday," he says.
If you'd like to donate, Mount Sinai Baptist Church on Frederick Avenue accepts food donations every Monday at 8 a.m.
That food is then served to Long Islanders just an hour later.
