yesterdayOfficials say officers have captured a Tier 2 registered sex offender inmate who escaped on Jan. 30.
New Jersey State Police did not provide any additional information but announced on social media that 25-year-old Nicholas Voutsas was captured Monday afternoon.
Voutsas was riding inside a medical transfer van en route to University Hospital in Newark when he escaped.
