May the 4th was a couple of weeks ago, but the force is strong with May 21 as well, as The Empire Strikes Back was released 40 years ago today in the U.S. back in 1980.
The movie had the Planet Hoth, AT-ATs, snow speeders, Dagobah, Boba Fett, Cloud City, and the ultimate bombshell reveal …
“Obi Wan never told you. No, I am your father.”
To celebrate the milestone, Disney and Hasbro released special 40 Anniversary Black Series collectibles, with throw-back packaging.

The 6-inch figures include favorites such as Luke, Han, Leia, R2, Yoda, a tie fighter pilot, and AT-AT driver.
