? The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, rocked his home state with Sunday night?s show at Giants Stadium.
Fans started tailgating hours in advance to get ready for the show. One group even chartered a bus so everyone could get to see their hometown rock star.
Many fans say listening to Bruce brings them back to their youth. Others just love the fact that he?s a normal, down-to-Earth guy from New Jersey.
As for the band, it's also important to put on a good show for the home crowd.
"It's great being home," says E-Street band member Clarence Clemmons. "You always want to look good and feel good for your hometown. We've been around the world and it's been fantastic, but it's all been a build to this."
The band opened with "Tenth Avenue Freez-out." They have two more shows at Giants Stadium Monday and Thursday.
