A Pine Hill man accused of trying to meet with an underage girl for sex is facing numerous charges, according to Camden County prosecutors.

Authorities say Michael Marchionese, 51, began communicating online with an undercover detective who he believed was a 14-year-old girl in October.

Investigators say he asked for naked photographs of the girl and arranged to meet with her at a Cherry Hill hotel.

Marchionese was arrested at his home the following month and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

The charges against him include attempted manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, attempting to lure a child, attempted sexual assault of a minor and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
