New Jersey will see sunny skies for most of the week, but rain is expected to return by the weekend.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the same storm from last weekend will return this weekend, but temperatures will remain warmer.
Tuesday’s overnight hours will see mostly clear and seasonable weather. Temperatures will dip to the upper-40s.
Wednesday will see mostly sunny and mild weather. Daytime highs will be in the low-70s. There will be a persistent northeasterly wind that will keep temperatures cooler at the shore. Overnight lows will be around 50 degrees.
Thursday is expected to be the best day of the week. Daytime highs will be around 75 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will dip to the upper-50s.
Friday will see the sun fade to clouds. Late-day rain showers are possible. Daytime highs will be around 74 degrees, with overnight lows around 60.
Saturday and Sunday have a chance for rain. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s. Overnight lows are expected to dip to the low-60s.
