Saturday evening ’s storms brought some excitement to a quiet block in Sayreville.
Laurel Bernosky was out of the house when she got an alert that a tree had fallen near her home.
“When I came home, it was on my car,” Bernosky said.
The tree, on her neighbor’s property, landed on their roof.
“They have a small baby. I'm just glad that she's OK,” Bernosky said. “I was more worried about that. You can always replace everything, but safety's first.”
