New Jersey State Police are taking extra security measures to bolster security in response to the New Orleans terror attack.
Lt. Col. David Sierotowicz says the state police have been out anywhere there have been mass gatherings of people since the two incidents took place.
"We garner any information as far as mass gatherings in our state. And at that point we will send out troopers in uniform and troopers in plain clothes," says Sierotowicz.
Sierotowicz adds that part of their intelligence is dependent on the public,
"And it's so important that the community be engaged, not to be scared, but be aware. Be vigilant and report to us immediately if you see anything out of place," says Sierotowicz.
