One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 80 in Morris County, according to New Jersey State Police.
The crash happened Wednesday morning on the westbound side of the highway in Parsippany.
Police say that the driver of a Ford Fusion crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer and then caught fire. The driver, who was not identified, died at the scene of the crash.
The truck driver was not hurt.
Two lanes of I-80 West were closed for about three hours while the crash was investigated. It has since reopened.
