NJMVC to close Somerville agency, open new Green Brook location
The new agency is scheduled to open Monday, Dec. 21.

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission will permanently close its Somerville agency in December and relocate operations to a larger facility in Green Brook Township.
The Somerville agency, located at 10 Roosevelt Place, will close at the end of the business day Wednesday, Dec. 16. Customers with appointments that day will still be served, according to the NJMVC.

The new agency, located at 200 Route 22 West in Green Brook, is scheduled to open Monday, Dec. 21.
During the transition from Dec. 17 to 19, customers are encouraged to schedule vehicle service appointments at NJMVC agencies in Flemington, Springfield or Rahway, or at other locations across the state.
The NJMVC said additional details about appointment availability and amenities at the expanded Green Brook facility will be announced in December.
Customers can schedule appointments and access online services at NJMVC.gov.
