Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash last month in South Brunswick as a local resident.
According to the Middlesex Prosecutor’s Officer, a 24-year-old woman from Manalapan was driving a Subaru Legacy down New Road on Nov. 26 when she crossed the double-yellow median and struck 2000 Dodge Caravan driven by 61-year-old Nancy Krauss.
As a result of the collision, a third vehicle operated by a 42-year-old woman from South Brunswick rear-ended Krauss' vehicle. The driver of the third vehicle was not injured, according to police.
Krauss and the driver of the Subary Legacy were both taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where Krauss later died. The driver of the Subary Legacy had minor injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Officer James Kraivec of the South Brunswick Police Department at 732-329-4000 or Detective James Barnes of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at 732-745-3473.
