The sunshine on Friday helped highs crack 30 degrees, barely reaching the freezing mark. With the wind, it felt no better than 20 degrees. The wind remains on Friday night, albeit not as strong. Gusts will be between 20 and 25 mph. Lows dip down to the upper-teens with feels-like temperatures down to the single digits for one more morning Saturday. Saturday morning will be the coldest all weekend.
A big warmup begins Saturday, as highs surge to near 40 degrees with a lighter wind. It will feel like the 30s, still a notable improvement. Highs get into the mid-40s by Sunday afternoon with little to no wind. Sunday will be the pick of the weekend despite a few clouds.
The warmup continues into next week as a trio of 50-degree days are likely next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Rain-free weather is also expected through Tuesday afternoon. A stray shower is possible during the evening, otherwise the next week is dry. The next potentially large storm does not arrive until Thursday night at the earliest, or during the day Friday.
