WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Light snow showers are possible for North of the 78. This ends by midnight. This will transition into rain for parts of Northern and Central New Jersey. This is a quick event with the brunt of it is to the North. Parts of Northern New Jersey could expect up to an inch. Due to timing and intensity, the Monday morning commute will be likely uninterrupted. It could be a little slick in Northern counties but beyond that, not a major impact is expected. Snow will melt quickly throughout Monday as temperatures rise into upper-40s and low-50s.
Temperatures are warm on Monday and gradually decrease through Wednesday. Then another big warm up into Thursday and a downward slope into Friday and the weekend.
Next big chance of precipitation doesn't come until midweek. There is the chance to see a combination of rain, sleet, and snow late Wednesday to early Thursday.
