Fair weather continues to slowly nudge in from the Tennessee Valley. Winds are still coming from the northwest. This will keep temps on the cold side of seasonable. The winds are lessening, but still "frisky" so it will feel colder tonight into tomorrow morning.
Sunny skies for Saturday will help bring milder, more seasonable, temperatures to the state.
It gets even milder on Sunday. Fair weather is sliding through and eventually moves offshore. When this system moves off the coast the winds will switch direction, coming more from the southwest, and a more consistent milder air will be felt throughout the state.
For the first time since the end of December, New Jersey can expect to see three consecutive days of 50 degrees or warmer. It's not record-breaking, but it's a nice break from the winter chill.
