The skating rink at Rockefeller center officially opened Saturday, unofficially kicking off the holiday season.

The skating rink at Rockefeller Center officially opened Saturday, unofficially kicking off the holiday season.
The rink, which first opened in 1936, hosts more than 250,000 people each season.

It will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. until midnight through April 2020.
