Hooper Avenue has reopened after a gaping sinkhole opened in the roadway between Hadley and Franklin avenues Saturday.
The 12-foot deep hole was discovered by Toms River firefighters who immediately shut down traffic in the area.
By Sunday morning, the hole was filled and traffic was proceeding as normal through Hooper Avenue.
